Rena's Story
Dear Armenian family support services especially Silva and Rita. My name is Rena and this is my story. In 2014 we were living in Aleppo Syria surrounded by war and bombs. We left Syria and moved to Lebanon with my husband and two young sons. We lived in one room with 7 other people counting my family 11 people, we felt so helpless until we found Armenian family support services phone number. We called that phone number and we reached Silva and Rita that call was the starting of our new life. We sent all of our papers to Silva and Rita. In February 2016 we arrived in Canada. With their help they found us a sponsor church(New Life)to help us with our new life. I started working as an Arabic translator for our local school district. My husband works as a factory worker that makes doors and windows. Both of my sons are doing well in school we now have a daughter which is the first Canadian citizen in our family. My sons and I have became Canadian citizens too. The Armenian family support service (Silva and Rita) also helped my parents to come to Canada which changed their lives too for the better. Now looking back i wonder what would have happened if we didn’t find this phone number. We are very blessed that we found Rita and Silva to help us get a better life.
