The AFSS offers free services for information and referral and is our primary point of contact. Referrals are made for a variety of services some of which include:

• Housing Assistance (emergency, seniors)

• Assistance with completing applications for government documents and translation services provided 

 AFSS employment services include one-on-one career counselling, coaching, mentoring, instructions and guidance on resume and cover letter preparation, transferable skills, career laddering, interview techniques, online job search, effective networking, other. By partnering with public and private employment agencies and other charitable organization, AFSS organizes interactive career and employment workshops with guest speakers, in order to further assist our clients and support them in reaching their employment and career goals.
